I have a couple of normal Stubben bridles however I was considering buying a CTD to use for general schooling etc. Does anyone here have one?...what are they like?...any good? do they wear well? or should I steer away from them?I am asking cos I bought a GFS Advantage once & that was rubbish, no shine, bad leather wasn't worth having

Both my friend and I have one for our horses. Both have lasted very well, smart enough to compete in as well. Mine came with his, as far as I know it's at least 3/4 years old. Friends is 5/6 years old and is still in a very good state.

Just thought I'd add, as ever, be careful with the sizing. My horse is 16.1 ID x TB (3/4s ID mind), the throatlash and noseband are both on the last hole for him on a full. Friend has 16.3 TB, full fits her fine. Not particularly small mind, just still trying to work out what is normal for mine as half the time full fits fine, but others its too small.
