Cub Saddle - Girthing query

Does anyone know if I need a dressage girth with this cub saddle??

There is one underneath it saying that is what others bought. Also what is the best way to measure for a dressage girth, or am I best getting the saddle then measuring for the girth later??

I got a cub saddle for my granddaughters tiny pony but only needed a 12" or 14" girth which I got after the saddle from a made to measure girth site on ebay.Dressage girths were much too big and our local saddler did not do them that small

dont they do girths for them or is that my imagination?? l know they do the tiny stirrup leathers

We got a 30" dressage girth for our livery - was a rotund Welsh section A!

you can either go for a dressage girth or a normal tiny girth for these saddles

yes my shetland got a dressage girth for cub saddle im sure they do special numnahs for them now too

We got a little girth to go with it from Robinsons i think.

Thorowgood also do small girths suitable. Do you know how big it is? I am looking for 14" one to replace our old one but can only now find 12" ones.
