Curb chains

Has anyone used a leather curb chain? How did you find it? Is there any brand which is particularly good? Any other possibilities for a sensitive flower gelding wearing his first double bridle?

Yep, I've used one and I liked it very much. It was just a cheapo one from any old tack shop to try, and it did rust a bit, so better I think to get a nicer one (mine cost about £2!). You can also get elasticated ones which are milder still

Thanks PF! Unfortunately elastic ones are not dressage legal for some reason. I'll have a dig on the internet for a nice leather one then.

I think Risley Saddlery sell leather curb chains, or Fylde saddlery, both have websites and if you call can send stuff out to you.
