Try a line breed to Nimmerdor and Furioso xx (twice) with Kannan (Voltaire x Nimmerdor x Le Mexico), here's his link:

A stunning stallion, with great movement and temperament. he covers around 200 mares a year in France because he mixes so well with them.

His semen is superb and he has some very interesting covering conditions for multiple mares. He's sold with live foal guarantee.

Im not claiming to be up on this sort of info but how about, Handel or marius claudius, both proven stallions in the S/J world think they are both KWPN reg arnt they? I have a mare in foal to handel at the moment, nice easy covering etc not expensive too.

VDL and Nijhof have some fantastic young KWPN stallions, starting at 600/700 euro's.

If you fancy a linebreed to Nimmerdor look at Wittinger VDL http://www.vdlstud.com, HE has the joint hightest jumping index, along with Tangelo (alSo in your budget) http://www.zuuthoeve.be/html/tangelo_e.html

I also liked Veron (Quite Easy-Caretino-Romino -Calypso IV) and Vegas (Atlantic - Jus De Pomme - Wellington - Orthos -Joost) VDL, and Verdi from Nijhof http://www.team-nijhof.nl/ (Quidam De Revel - Landgraf I -Calypso I)

Loads of others on their sites, VDL were great sending a dvd and brochure too. Just a few ideas...... *dont shoot me!*

Sorry, I hadn't realised that there was a budget involved.

For UNDER 1000€ you can get the father of Lux Z, Lord Calando who also happens to be the uterine brother of the superb Carthago Z. he's 350€ per dose, owned by the French National Stud and the price is subsidised by the French Government. He also appears as the dam sire of Numero Uno and Chatman, here's his link:

For 900€ you can get fresh semen from Calvados Z (Chellano Z x Carthago Z x Farn) Who won the 5 year old World Championships in 2006.
