Went to the Curre PtoP on Saturday. Had a fantastic day out. The weather was glorious, and the ground perfect.

Was anyone else there?? I was wondering if Vicijp had anything running?

Yes, saw it - poor girl. Do you know how she is?? We were on the top of the hill watching at that point.

I was amazed at how many horses had badly fitted Grackle's on - bit random I know. But couldn't quite figure out how the poor nags were supposed to breath!
 
I was the girl who grabbed the horse when it got up.
I'd just let my friend go as hers reared up and fell over backwards on her.
Apparently she wasn't to bad amazingly!
I went to pick up my lead rein from the stewards who said she'd been talking. But other than that they didn't have any news.
 
Mad - and we didn't know each other was there.

Amazing that she was ok - it was such an awful fall. Did she go through the wing, or clip it?
 
We might be talking about two different incidents I think

As they were all going down to the start one of the horses reared up and came over backwards on the girl riding. It rolled over her three or four times and then stood on her as it got up.
But funnily enough this horse also had a grackle on.

The girl who fell during the race was fine and walked away no problem. Lucky lady!

This annoys me everytime I go racing! I bet only 1/10 are fitted correctly - drives me bonkers

Didnt go on Sat, but lad who works in the yard was 2nd in the restricted, said hed have won but duffed the last.

Phew - thought it was just me!
 
I saw that accident with the horse rearing up. There were a few jockeys who came a cropper. Did you see the jockey in the 3rd or fourth race who went crashing through the barrier as the horse ducked out - thankfully the rider seemed ok. Its a shame about the horse who fell in the 8th race - i dont think he got up in the end.
