Current hay prices & location if left in the lurch?

Local feed merchants are £6.75 small bale collected (Rokers) nw Surrey.
Glad I paid £3 a bale delivered and stacked from the field last summer!

I've just got another 10 in this week as a top up, as had 5 stolen! Buggers. £5 delivered and put in hay barn.
I've now cut all the remaining strings of the 35 odd left.........

I have more very dry (almost hay) 150 kg bales of Timothy (low calorie) manage than I can shake a stick at if anyone needs some.

E Cheshire, NW Derbyshire, SW Yorksire, N Staffs all within an hour.

I might be interested in some though to be honest I am not sure what a 150 kg bale looks like- how big is it?

£3.25 a small bale from our local tame farmer, lovely quality. That is delivered and stacked as well. He knows he is cheap for the area but he is happy to have regular customers who give plenty of notice when needing more and don’t moan about the odd bad bale. He delivers us about 30 bales a month for the 2 here on hay.

Last winter he ran out and sourced for us from a neighbour of his and charged us £3.50 a bale to account for the fact he paid the neighbour £2.50 a bale. This year doesn’t seem to be a problem so far.

I get a "block". 10 individual small bales wrapped in one outer for £35 (Surrey). No idea why my usual suppler has started to do this - I usually get big bales. But a lot easier to move around! I buy 3 or 4 at a time; but others on yard use him too so I think we get 20 or so either blocks or big bales of haylage at the same time.

But a local feed suppleir who also bales his own hay is up to £9 a small bale - and folk do still buy it.

Any chance I could have the details of your supplier please?
Many Thanks 😊
