Cushings diease in Dogs ? ....

never had to deal with it myself, but have known/met dogs who have had it and they've still carried on as normal with medication living a good life

Our standard poodle had cushings disease for about 2 years, she died in May but not of cushings but cancer. Once on the medication she seemed to settle down and do well, however after a year she lost so much weight on the meds we had to take her off it and she perked up again. In fact we got her old self back, the meds made her very down! Good luck with the treatment, usually they do well..

I have an old Boxer bitch with Cushing's. I started giving her Adrenal Cortex 30C and Quercus Robor 30C twice daily a week ago and already most of her symptoms are regressing. Her swollen sagging belly has tightened up, her coat has improved (though bald areas haven't grown back yet) and she's coming into season for the first time in over a year. She still drinks a lot but doesn't seem so desperately thirsty as she was, and she's started playing again! Since these remedies are homoeopathic there are no nasty side effects and they are very cheap to buy, unlike Vetoryl!
