Does anyone know how to qualify for or get the code for a free yearly test?
Im not even sure how much it saves or if it’s worth pursuing?
My vet told me to find out about it so I looked on the Care about Cushings site where it advises to ask your vet!
Vets coming to look at Bubbles eye tomorrow and also to check his little friend who has cushings and is currently a bit dodgy looking, we only upped his prescand about 6 months ago so I’m hoping it’s not that but we will probably check I’d imagine. Any but off the bills helps atm!!

You officially only get the free test if the horse hasn't already tested positive.
The lab cost of the test is all that is free though, you still pay for vet visit and blood taking.

I think care about cushings gave me the voucher for the cost of the test for the last 2 years on a yearly basis, even though he already had the diagnosis. I didn't know it existed until my vet recommended I sign up to it. The voucher is worth about £60.

It's very hit and miss where it goes and when they send the voucher, I think I got mine about 6 months in advance and by the time his test was due it had got lost so I messaged them and they resent the code

Drop them a message they're really helpful!
