Hi

Just be aware that you may only ever get one of the symptoms, and it is safer to have your horse tested than just leave it.

The only sign my boy showed was chronic laminits in all 4 feet. He had Laminitis before and cushings is also known to attack the weakest part of the horse, my friends horse cushings symptoms all came out in colic as he was succeptible to this.

Are you concerned your horse may have it?

SHE JUST SEEMS TO WEE MORE THAN NORMAL BUT THAT COULD BE DUE TO THE WET GRASS AND FEED SHE HAS. PROBALLY ME WORRYING TO MUCH EVERYTHING ELSE WITH HER IS FINE TOUCH WOOD!

I agree though, as that is quite a common symptom it mgiht be worth getting her tested, better safe than sorry! and the sooner you catch it the better life you are saving!

And not to make you worry more, I dont think wet grass would make her noticably pee more!

My loan gelding I suspect has cushings, although his owner hasn't had him tested yet. He's VERY hairy, and although he does lose most of it, it never completely comes off his neck. He's very happy and healthy, we just clip him out more if he is doing a lot of work, but other than that- he's as happy and healthy as can be! =D
