It seems the styrofoam pads are quite different from the pads I use so I was probably wrong to say that what Laminitis Trust view on them may be rubbish as I don't know anything about them and assumed they were similar to the ones I use. Which are for protection, support and comfort they couldn't be used to support a hoof angle as they squash down. ;)

yes thankyou, i have posted on there...hes to have 1mg a day... vet wants £80 for 60 tablets..

I wouldn't buy direct from the vet, I would get a prescription from the vet and shop around.

My horse was on what ended up being quite a high dose of Pergolide for 10 years, he never showed any signs of agression. In the end he war PTS because of an unrelated tumour. The pergolide meant he had an extra 10 happy years of life.

i am getting a vets prescription, £7.40, i found the tablets on line for £136.69 for 160 from vet medics...
