So decided to have my 20 year old Welsh x TB, tested for Cushings again last week, had done last year, an he was OK.
The results I got today, was told ACTH level this time of year should be around 30, max of 40, and his is 88.
So guess thats a sure sign now :-(

Do any of you have a pony with Cushings ? Do I need to change his routine, management, feeds, turn outs, hay rations etc ?

Would like any info at all please, hes not your typical Cushings case, in fact he carries v v good weight-good doer, takes a while to get pounds off him, but had gotten a v thick coat by July this year, drinks fair amount, and deff urinates lots.

Join the equine cushings and equine metabolic group on facebook,it is fantastic and Andrea will tell you anything you will ever need to know, highly recomended
