More of a vent than useful post

I ordered new XC gear from CustomXC on 25th January.

- The package went missing in the post (probably because of the snow). It was sent recorded and the tracking number shows that it never reached our sorting office near where I live.

Initially I said I was happy to wait for investigation/return of package, etc ... but it's now been 10 weeks and very little contact from the company. I've now e-mailed them to push things a little as I have now decided the weather might be tied to my gear. So when my kit arrives, the sun will come out and I will magically be able to do some XC and look awesome while doing it ..... Sad times :(
 
Ouchies! 10 weeks much too long to wait. PO usually pay for lost parcels after 28 days, so think you are being strung along!
 
Well I think the parcel only officially went "missing" about 5 weeks ago - but that's still too long! Until then it was at a sorting office, stuck in the snow, waiting to move on towards me. And then Pffff, it disappears from the tracking system.
(tbh I should have just demanded replacement immediately - I am always too nice and assume everything will be fine)

... And now it's snowing heavily across Sussex so all the xc dreams might as well be buried!!
