is anyone else still wearing one? and what do you all think of them do you care about fashion trends in the show ring ?

I know someone who competes up to Advanced Medium level dressage in one - It looks very smart and does make her stand out a bit (for the right reasons!).

Bit of a late answer but I love cut away jackets. My friend has a pale green/ brown / fawn herringbone cut away jacket for M&M classes - I've borrowed it on occasion and it's beautiful - I'd definitely look to get one when I get my own pony to show.

Traditionally, cut away jackets should be worn as part of a side saddle habit, and at no other time! It isn't correct to wear one when riding astride, but people seem happy to wear them anyway.

Personally, I prefer a jacket that doesn't make me have to suck my stomach in the whole time!
