They don't yap, they have proper barks! LOL and mine only use them when they're on doorbell duty

You have to have one they're fab little characters - not that I'm biased!!!!!! Mine aren't that typical of JRTs, they don't need much in the way of firm handling and have good recalls - normally!! Great dogs if you love cuddles and a good hot water bottle!
