After being verrbally abused and having my car window bashed by a moron on a bike with 4 otherr morons, Id like to find out what club he belongs to and send them an email (when I have calmed down and stopped shaking) telling them that one in particular, but 2 of that group feel it appropriate to come along side (left side) a car with a lone female in it on a lonely coutry road, bang the vehicle and then call me a F***ing C***.... Im shaking and tearful, imagine if id have been an old lady or a nervous driver. Undertaking is dangerous as it is, never mind on a bike into a blind spot.

Feel the need for Gin!

Poor you and how very dare they. Maybe a call to your local newspaper. Ours is very good at that sort of thing and maybe a call to the local police as well.

What awful behaviour - is there a governing body for cycling clubs, they will know your local ones and give you numbers.

Undertaking is illegal - and if they are on a bike bloody stupid.

They were in orage and white which isnt a colour I know from round here...Lichfield club has blue and stars and are always very nice, if Im in the car or on a ned. I havent noticed this lot around before. What made it almost worse is that there I was at the road junction after the foul mouthed one (about mid 20's)and his mate (40ish)(who deemed fit to flag me and call me a T**t) with tears in my eyes shaking, when 3 others came past - on the left again - to catch the group up, and 2 of them were in their 60's at a guess. They tutted at ME like it wass MY fault!!
I wound my window down and said that it WASNT my fault and that he shouldnt have passed me on my left!
To explain a bit further, Id been parked in a gateway feeding a friends 2 neds, checked the road (its single track) saw bikes a good 600/700m down the road and did a 3 point turn, had driven approx 150m when there was this almighty bang on my left passenger window, I seriously thought a tree branch had fallen and Id hit it or something, I jumped and swerved, and therre is this bloke riding next to me (passenger side) treating me to a range of his limited vocabulary!
I freely admit to being a potty mouth myself at times, but I NEVER use the C word, and dont take too kindly to it being used to me...Especially when (to me) I did jack all wrong.... I am right that I did nothing wrong arent I??!!!!

Cheers Suze and Cindars.... Im searching google for the local clubs and think I know which one it is.... Might drop an email to the governing body for Staffordshire, then they will be 'in the loop' so to speak!
As I said, on the whole, the cycling clubs round here are really good, and know the road!
