I was driving my horse the other day, happily trotting up the road...and a car with flashing lights came by...OK...then a bike rider pedalled away behind the car...OK, must be a charity ride?....then a hundred idiots packed into a tight bunch wearing way too much spandex came over the hill. I quickly got off the road and watched them go by.
They were doing pretty well until they hit the spot where my horse left a nice pile of "road apples". Dodging, swearing and then a lovely pile-up as attitude and spandex hit the dirt.
I'll admit it, the schaudenfreud was wonderful as we trotted down the road.
Funny, the motorcycle riders are great, the 4x4 riders have been great, it's the bikers who seem to be the jerks.
