Cysts on Eyes

My friend is looking at buying a horse, and has had one vetted. Apparantly it has a cyst on his eye (which according to vet won't cause many problems) Does anybody else have any experience of these...?? Your comments would be much appreciated..

Is it something that is treatable or is it permanent??

I knew a mare that had a cyst on her upper eyelid and it never caused a problem.

Normally called inverted cysts. Mines got one (and did when I bought him) They cause no problems
