Hi
Wanted to find out if anyone has used both of the above.
I am really struggling to get hold of any Dengie products in Germany , before Christmas manged to get some Kwikbeet and D&H Alfalfa instead... however.. my fussy a*** of a horse does not like sugarbeet ( tried bog standard with sugar -sugar beet - added apple juice.. no go - only horse in 25 years that I have come across that does not like sugarbeet!) and he has decided now that Alfalfa is also not really his thing.
What I wanted to know was if any of you had horses that have maybe had the D&H Alfalfa and not eaten it, but have been fine with the Alfa A Oil?
Weight wise he is ok.. but would like a bit more top line - I have tried the D&H build up but sent him slightly bonkers, and really wanted to get him on a more fibre based diet - he is a Trakehner.. but very TBish and would be the ideal sort of ulcers - we get very little turn out here in the winter and only a few hours a day in the summer so not ideal.
What I don't want to do, is spend more time trying to source the Dengie stuff if it is likely he is going to turn his nose up at that too !
