So it's payday for me which means only one thing...spending it all on my horses!
Does anybody know of any saddle pads that attach to the d-ring? I already have the Lemieux ones for competing but I don't want to use my nice ones for riding at home and I don't fancy spending over £30 per saddle pad if there is a cheaper alternative.
Or does anyone have a way to attach normal saddle pads to a monoflap saddle to stop them slipping back?!

I couldn't find any for OH's saddle under £30. I was thinking of sewing a strip of Velcro on to the top of regular ones and cutting the other strap off. Shouldn't be too hard as they attach to the top side of the saddlecloth.

Thank you both. Unfortunately my sewing skills are not the best as I found out yesterday when I tried to repair a rug and managed to catch the neck lining and accidentally stitch it to the bum! I was so pleased with myself until I tried to fold it up to put it away and realised what I had done, so I fear this could end in no saddle pads at all if I start cutting bits off and trying to re-stitch things back on.
Looks like I will just have to buy some more Lemieux ones! :)

I use either Le Mieux or PE all the time but i have a couple of Salamo ones for hunting that i got from olympia for £15 each they are exactly the same shape as the PE & LM ones but i can't see anything on their website
