DA Update - with pics

Well We have had him 2 weeks tomorrow & he has settled in fantasticly.

He is so quick to pick things up, he only needs to see something once & it's no longer scary.

So today he went on a hack to my instructors school. He was very good on the way there, passing the skip monster without too much trouble, apart from the carrier bag monster chasing him!

So we arrived at the school which was still a bit frozen & after 5 minutes he was walking round it happily without obnoxious pony (his safety blanket)

We even managed a little trot on a defrosted bit & wow!

So here are some piccies:

Wow he is gorgeous! Cannot wait to hear about all his progress!
There are so many similarities to Trev-I can see a lot of Trev in him. Only things different is their faces and that DA is longer and straighter in the second thigh. But DA has a much better shoulder and a better set on and longer neck than T. Which is a really good thing as Trev's dressage comments were always 'short and tight in the neck!'

Thanks hun, will keep you updated, Trev is a Stunner. I think DA'll be quite the dressage pony(that'll be Daddies influence then!), Gill says he has always worked in an outline from the day he was backed so I am very luck in that respect.

1st lesson is early March so looking forward to it loads!

Was aiming to do our first dressage on 11th but looks like all change now but hoping for a stressage in March at some point.
