DAF 45/160

Hi you clever lot, just wondered what you thought about these lorries? Was thinking of upgrading our VW LT 35, to a DAF 45/160 we've seen, opinions? It will be only our 2nd lorry and only upgrading as the 2 horses are too big for current lorry.

DAF's are generally good little runners

The 45/160 is an older model and superseded by the more curvy DAF LF

Weve currently got a Mreg, the one ive seen is V, so about 6yrs newer. Any ideas on parts etc? Do the horses generally travel well, one of ours is abit of a nightmare travel.

We have a DAF 45 on an X 2001, its been great, some come with electric windows which is nice! Very reliable and easy to get parts for.
