DAF not selling...what am I doing wrong??

I had a look at it and thought it was a very good price. Much better than anything I looked at for more than you are asking and much newer too.
Good luck with selling it. Im sure now people can find it you wont have a problem.

OMG, people, 143 views & 11 watchers! That's more in one day than I've previously had over the 2 separate weeks put together!!

Perfect11s - don't say that! I really don't want to sell it as it's been a good friend & I do get very attached to my things! I've had enough of being carless & in the sticks.

Tico - I would suggest that you pop yours on eBay again & follow the suggestions that I've been given from people on here. It really has amde the most amazing amount of difference. Incidentally my wedgwood plates haven't sold for the 2nd time, so if anyone has any ideas...??

I don't like to burst your bubble but many people will have looked from here - however the more people that see the better:)

I have to say that keeping it and buying a cheap car / van had crossed my mind as well!

As for the plates. I've bought a lot of bone china recently for my aunt's garden party. China copes remarkably well in the post with simple packing precautions! A layer of bubblewrap on each plate and further one round the whole lot, in a stout cardboard box will look after it. People are far more inclined to bid if you will post, although I appreciate it is a hassle. As for the ad, you're obviously very honest but I suspect that leaves people fearing the worst. If you can, consider adding a photo as close up as possible of each plate so they can judge the wear for themselves.

Honestly, Your lorry is quite small. It's only 7'4 wide and 7'6 high. My horse wouldn't fit in it :( I think your dimensions aren't going to help you sell it. What size horses did you have in it? On the plus it would have a better payload as there is less of it. Maybe put on the ad what size horse goes in it?

Trev fits in it nicely & he is 16.2 - 16.3. Adrian fitted in it too & he was a similar size but chunky. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I had the lorry while Catembi was still alive. He was a very strapping 17hh & tbh he never looked squashed in any way. It didn't occur to me that it was a 'small' lorry.

200 views & 15 watchers, so not doing badly!

You could also try just putting an advert in it whilst as a show - i sold my first lorry by putting a sign in the lorry window whilst i was riding and while untacking a family looked round it.

Cash next day - lorry gone as soon as i could clean my years worth of rubbish out of it!

Have PM'd you, Tico.

Good idea re shows, VC, but I'm not sure where we're going next. Was going to MF at the w'end, but I am told that the new surface in the outdoor arena has turned unrideably deep.

You still competing in your new home? Long time, no see!
