got comp coming up, and mind block on a couple of things:

Is this bit (myler bristol) legal: bit

Can you use a crank noseband?

Do the saddlecloths have to be one colour alll over with no coloured piping?

white sadde cloth or black is more correct. They can have binding but nothing to garish!

i cant see the link as my comp is playing up so cant advise on the bit.

crank noseband is fine.

This is the one, and only, occasion, where a bit termed a "Dr Bristol" is permitted. The Myler MB10 mouthpiece is, in fact, a french link - ie. the angle of the link is set so that it lies flat on the tongue. A true Dr Bristol has the link angled so that the edge rests on the tongue. That's what sloppy terminology does for you - raise confusion.

There is no rule on the colour of numnahs/saddlecloths, only regarding the size of any logo so coloured piping around the edge is fine. White is traditional though and a few eyebrows may be raised if yours is cyclamen pink with vivid purple piping!

Crank nosebands are fine but, as with any other noseband, must not be fastened so tightly that it causes discomfort to the horse.

Please don't let Freestyler see this.Mister in cyclamen pink and bling.PMSL
