Is there much difference between Baileys No.4 Topline conditioning cubes and Spillers conditioning cubes?

Been on both sites and compared the feeds. The Spillers conditioning cubes have a slightly higher protein and fibre %, but baileys has a higher digestable energy %, they both have the same oil %. Any help/ views are appreciated.

Thanks.

I've posted this in other parts of the forum.

I've used both and have had much better results with the Spillers. The Baileys was ok but not great and I used a lot more than the Spillers, with the horse looking better on a smaller amount of the latter. But that can vary from horse to horse. I did look at the nutritional details when I was looking for a comparable feed to Topline and chose Spillers because it seemed more balanced.

Personally, I would recommend Spillers. Topline isn't bad, just not quite as good for my horse.

Thanks for reply. I have used both in the past few years and had the same finidngs as you; my horse required less Spillers than Baileys yet looked the same. Was just curious what everyone else thought.

Spillers Conditioning cubes all the way, ive had much better results feeding them.
My horse turned into a nutter on the Baileys No.4, I was later told by one of the Baileys reps the cubes are identical to their racehorse cubes, just in a different bag! Baileys No.4 contain 28% starch, whereas Spillers Conditioning cubes are 20%.
Definately recommend Spilllers
