Daft games to play with your pony when it's too hot to work #1

I have been to the pound shop today and spent £15 on loads of toys to play with. :)

I got pool noodles to play at charging at each other, a gun that shoots balls, a catapult for trying to hit cans off the fence, helicopter whirly thing, giant bubble maker, skipping rope, velcro mits & tennis ball, England flag, England flag bunting.

Most of my yard think I am completely barking :D but we have so much fun and my horse is now pretty well bombproof - obviously as much as a horse can be.

I must go back tomorrow and get a sword though - that looks great.
 
now you sound like my sort of livery, tiga :D your yard are too boring to appreciate you :p

what's the plan with the skipping rope? :D

JFTD - Halton could be a good idea; however at he moment my feet, nor Bailey's leave the ground willingly in a jumping 'effort' - we are more likely to side step the plane than fly over it!! :D

Paddy monty were you at the hunter trial at alconbury a few weeks ago? There was some one that looked like you but I didnt dare ask :o.

Course you can come play silly games with us we need more mad people :D

Possibly - be warned though that when I get threatened to be chased with a lunge whip, I get off, pick up the lunge whip and chase whoever threatened me with it :D

Perfect. Now I have a reason to buy the western gun belt and holster i saw on ebay, wanted, but couldn't justify as would never use. :D
Now jusy need a colt 45 and some proper spurs. Already got the chaps and hat. :p

My friend is convinced that all the people she knows are just very big eight year olds :D We go and 'play ponies' lots. One of the most memorable was when we set off on a nice winter day, got caught in a snow storm and ended up riding along trying to catch snow flakes on our tongues :D
We played the bath the horses game yesterday evening, as it was too hot to ride. The girls appreciated it muchly, particularly the big girl enjoyed me writing our names on her with the hose pipe, so that sister could guess what I'd written :D
