Bought one today, and it has a piece of plastic that divides it down the middle (on the inside) - so if i put treats in through the big hole, they cant get through to come out of the small hole.

Am I being really daft here, is it supposed to be there?

I put the treats in through the small hole in the end....

Thanks!

Pony nuts definitely do fit through. It's there to stop all the nuts falling out the hole at once, and keeps them busy with it for longer.

I put Hi fibre nuts in mine and she gets them out quite easily. I think there are holes all round the edge of the central plastic piece.

The Hi fibre nuts are the same size as pony nuts. They will go through honest!

But, does the ball have a yellow disc (that you can unscrew - you also get a spare one with the ball) the opposite end of the hole you are putting the nuts in now?

Apologises if you have a different make of snak a ball, but my OH gave up totally frustrated trying to fill one of these up

If it is like mine, and I think it is, you unscrew the disc (or find it in the box if it wasn't in) and put the nuts in that end and then put the disc back. The plastic divider in the ball stops the snacks coming out too quickly. The horse rolls the ball around, some nuts fall through the holes in the plastic divider and out through the little hole.

Sorry if this isn't what you needed to know
