But I'd like to gather opinions/advice before I part with money!

Many of you answered my previous post on asking about hi viz, and it was amazing to have so many replies, thank you all 😊 due to road works etc happening in the area, we have put walking out in hand on hold for a while.

My next question is regarding brushing boots! Just front, or front and back? The activity we will be doing is pole work/ horse agility, which we have done bits of before life went all crazy, but nothing "intense". I've managed to have some space set aside in one of the fields that means I can set up a little course to tweak as I please, so it'll become something to do weekly is the plan! As they have both been a bit feral over the last 6 months or so, I'm factoring in suppleness and coordination won't be the best, so would like to cushion any potential leg knocks.

Which would you guys do? Pair, set, or none at all? Thank you

I’ll stick a baby in boots for a week or so just to make sure it’s used to wearing them and there won’t be a problem if it needs bandages or something in the future.

But for general work, no boots until there’s a problem. Horses are better off without them 99% of the time. If they hit a leg on a pole, they’ll learn to move more cleanly next time.

Guys, this is fab, thank you very much! I like less faff and although they have had boots on before (for reasons mentioned above by @Snowfilly) and also share the thinking that a not serious knock helps perception, but got judged so much and commented on so badly for that way of thinking at livery, it made me doubt myself. Much appreciated guys x
