Just want to know how old your old Dallys are. (or were when they passed away)

My boys 13 next february and doesnt look any different to when I used to show him many years ago.

I was always told they will make 12 ish if your lucky.

Thanks.

Sadly I don't have Murphy anymore - he was PTS aged just 8, 2 years ago :(

He lived a very active life but was a total scrounger! Miss him every day and he's left me with lots of memories to remember him by - good and bad! :D

I think yours is a great age - would love to see pics of him. This is Murph when he was around 4:

Have to say I miss the attention he used to get - children loved him and all you'd hear on a walk was "ooh Dalmation!" lol

Don't know whether this counts as Bert is only half but takes after the dalmation side. He is 12 and half years and does suffer from arthritis. He's on green lipped mussle and he runs round like a loon. Unfortunately his mum (dalmation) had to be put down at nine years old. They are lovely dogs and yes anything for food. Very willful.

No pics on this computer but we had Mollie, a Liver Spotted Bitch.
She was 9 when we had to have her PTS 2 years ago, she had a Prolapsed Uterus and got very poorly very quickly.

Still miss her!

My dally bitch Abbey was 13 when pts whilst she still had her dignity, she was very stiff and starting to find getting up pretty tricky, various other general old age symptoms that showed us that she was ready to go.

Most of mine have been between 13 and 14 years but I did have one put down four years ago that was two and a half weeks off his 15th birthday. He was still going for walks, getting on the sofa and doing clandestine raids on the kitchen for extra food:rolleyes: until the week he was put down. When he wouldn't eat I knew it was time. I think 12 to 13 is a good average.
