DAM DAM not what I needed

I am going in hospital tomorrow for surgery on my ankle (again)

Yesterday Micah came in lame even in walk

I suspect a bruised sole as no heat, swelling, pulse God I hope that is all it is

Farrier is due this morning so getting him to have a look.

If not he will just have to have a week resting until I am back out of hospital, albeit in a cast

I really could do without this.

The young girl who has agreed to look after him only did so for free on condition she could ride him. She is a nice girl so don't think she will leave me in the *****

Cant you pay someone at the yard, a manager or yard worker.
That way you wont feel guilty and will be sure he is being looked after as its paid, not as a favor.

Hope your surgery goes well and your horse recovers quickly.

she is looking after him for 3 months as it is that long before I will be ok, so he had better come sound before then, thats why I am hoping its just a bruise too

I am not being paid while I am off as it is the 3rd time in 18 months I have needed surgery on this dam thing!! So really struggling. The idea was I paid for everything and she rode/looked after him. Hoping it won't be to long before she can ride him
