Some off you may remember a post I did about a weird lump on my mares leg?
Well it came up last week after she had spooked into a jump and landed on the block. I assumed it was a fluid pocket (was above her hock joint) I cold hosed it, masaged and walked her in the sand school every day and it appeared to go down. I had the vet up yesterday to do vacs and have him take a look at the lump. He said it wasn't a fluid pocket and in fact she had damadged her vein so the lump still remaining is scar tissue and will probably always be there. Have any of you had any experience in damadged veins?
