Well back at work tomorrow after 2 weeks leave and only had a couple of dry days.
And to finish it off nicely my daughter put ours out today without their lightweights.
Got to the yard tonight in the middle of a downpour and the poor things were soaked. So feeling like a very bad owner

How could I let such a thing happen. The warmblood had her tail tucked into her legs and refused to have anything to do with me.
The way they behaved you would have thought they had been without food for weeks rather than spent 10 minutes in the rain.
To top it all they decided not to come in in their usual order but to chase each other round the gate. Meaning I was standing in torrential rain waiting for them to decide who was boss today.
For gods sake they are horses, they wont melt, even though they obviously think they will. Some excuse for the oldie as I dont usually let him get cold or wet but not the other two.
They are lovely warm and dry and tucked up for the night. I am sitting here still damp and cold trying to thaw out with a coffee.
Thinking of moving somewhere warm and dry, any suggestions.
