Treated my minis yesterday with Coopers fly repellent by pouring 100ml on from poll to dock. Have just checked them today and although there are a lot of dead lice there are also still quite a lot of live ones, even close to the area where I poured the coopers on. The ponies still seem quite itchy too. How long should it take for all the lice to die, is this normal or should I reapply it using a different method? Was thinking of putting it in a spray bottle and spraying all over?
How does the stuff actually work? Is the idea that you pour it across the back and it is then absorbed into the skin and spread all over the rest of the body, or is the idea that you put it on the back and the lice will die when they eventually come in to contact with that specific area?
