damp haylage

I share a haylage bale with a friend to keep costs down. We are near the end of the yards stock so making most of the cheaper cost. The bale I openned yesterday smelt lovely however it was damp. There ws no mould infact the bale before was dry but mouldly in a corner. Everyone said it was ok cause it smelt lovely but I am concerned that it is damp, would you feed it???

Sounds fine to me. I would use it.

i would use it well give the horse the choice if he eats it its fine
