Dandruffy/Scabby legs

Can anyone recommend a good shampoo for my horse. She has got bad dandruff/scurf on her hind legs, I have been using Head and Shoulders but its not really making much difference.

Any Suggestions?

Nizoral from the chemists or Boots own brand Cortaconizole (practically the same as Nizoral but better stuff).

My boy had something similar on his forelegs, he was wearing boots quite alot... so had to hose and brush them off everytime he wore them. I found just keeping his legs clean and dry helped, but also rubbed sudocrem into the worst affected areas which cleared it up!! Might be worth trying?

I was told baby shampoo with a drop of tea tree oil, diluted in warm water. Worked a treat for my TB who suffers with this at coat change time.

I'm using Selsun and it has been recommended by my vets for his leg mites issues, it's for seboarric demetitus (probably spelt wrong!!) so it may do the trick. It's got Selenium in it and it's bery similar to seleen.

It's behind the counter at the chemist and it's about a fiver.
