Has anyone used one, I have a large Cob, that leans on the bridle and crosses his jaw - at shows I can not get his concentration - he isn't the most forward so don't want anything he will back of. He currently wears French link hanging cheek. He prefers stainless steel as doesn't settle in kk or Neue schule.
Any advise would be appreciated.

No idea what a Danger Bit is, but I have found that a lot of cobs go better in a Pelham (or curb action) bit. They are often quite heavy on the front end and the curb helps to keep them from getting down on the bit and leaning: snaffles can be very "dead".

It's a bit that blocks when the horse leans and softens when it yields there are lots of types .
They have just been bought by sprenger I was looking at them online the other day but have never actually handled one to see how it works .

I tried one last week. Horse wore it for about 15 minutes, and hated it so much that I thought there was something wrong with her. Put her into her normal snaffle and she was moving forwards nicely again. Good luck if you try one though - Ive heard a lot of very positive things.
