Hi, has anyone on here trained with either Daniel Greenwood or David Hamer and if so could you tell me what they're like? And a bit about the way they teach?
Ive had one lesson in a clinic with Dan - it was really good. Hes really lovely too and explains everything really clearly to you. He worked a lot on shoulderfore and straightness with Archie and I, getting him to come under with his inside hind more.
It depends what level you are at really tho as to what sort of thing they will help you with. When i had mine i was only doing novice level stuff so we just worked on the basics.
Yeah dan's a good trainer, he teaches at my old yard! Nice guy. He can cover pretty much anything level wise and explains it all really clearly. Where would you be having the lesson or would you get him come to you?
I've watched David Hamer teach, but haven't had a lesson from him myself. He taught an advanced person on my yard. The biggest problem was hearing him! He sat in the corner and sort of mumbled. But when you could hear him he seemed quite good.
I live very close to both, so am hoping I could get someone to come to my yard. I've just got a fab young 4 year old who I'm really excited about, but who's quite sensitive and I really want to start him off properly and need some expert help and ongoing training.
David use to be one of the tutors at Craven college & was very good in his teaching from what I have been told. But I personnaly have never had a lesson off him.
Has he moved down south then??
