Danillon/Bute - How long to kick in?

I'm doing a ridden test on F to see if he's in pain or whether he's just being a g*t, how long does it take to for danillon to kick in, gave him one tonight and same tomorrow morning, would it be fine to 'test' late tomorrow morning?

I dont think it takes too long sounds fine to me.Your dosage should be working by then.My horse has been on it for a month.He had packet morning and evening for 2 weeks after surgery so it must be quite strong.
