Danilon- does it cause any problems used long term

As above really.I have had no choice with injuries but wondered if there were any side effects or long term problems using the above drug.
 
My horse is on Danilon for life. The vet told me that it is no different to a person taking a headache pill.

It is a fairly new drug and has far less problems than bute.

I googled it. I have got a drug infomation sheet on it as I buy it by the box load now. I can give you a copy.

My horse gets danilon daily for life and have never been warned about any side effect by the vet.
 
By all means pm me. I can type so I can type it out for you. Or if I can, I will find a copy of the info sheet I have an email it to you.

I read it from start to finish several times and do not feel at all worried by feeding it for life. I would much rather have a comfy happy horse than the poor hobbling creature he was before.

I hope your horse recovers soon.

all naisd,s have side affects when taking long term cause the liver has to work so hard to break all the chemicals down to do there job butdaniloin is safer than bute!
