Ive run out of bute but have some Danilon left, am I right in thinking that the only difference between them is that the Danilon is sugar coated?

I know they are from the same 'family' and I would only be using the Danilon until I get some more bute, can anyone see any problem with this?

Its for lameness, sore back and general arthritis.

Danilon is more palatable than Equipalazone and kinder on the system when using long term. They are both anti-inflammatories.

Great I thought so! My friend has some Danilon left over from when her horse had lami, so will use that until the weekend.

I agree i am using it as my horse has been out through injury and had surgery last week and has dalion.

Its kinder than bute but has the same effect.

Danilon is a pro-drug of bute - it gets converted into bute in the body. whether it truly is kinder on the gut is debatable - the scientific evidence behind that statement is iffy. it certainly tastes better though.
