He is my trainer and is genius!
he Has trained in Vienna was with Nunovera[sp]and was one of the quickest people to FBHS .
He specialises in Alexander technique is tough and exacting. Do not go if you want sunshine blown up your arse or you are not expecting to work hard on yourself.
To me he has been the best inspiration sice leaving the eagle eye of Ulla Salzgeber.
I have him coming to my yard on Tuesday, he does a whole day a month with me and my horses so i have about 7 sessions with him.
I personally dont think there is a better more knowledgable trainer in the country.

I found him good but I have had better lessons from other trainers and certainly wouldn't rush back to him again.
I can recommend Simon Battram.

Simon does often cancel at the last minute tho ie loaded with engine running, which is v v annoying if you haven't entered a comp in order to go to a lesson or if you've got a comp coming up that you wanted to practise for.

Also check ALL your phones, ie mobile, house phone, o/h's mobile, e-mail etc before you leave EVERY TIME in case he's left you a message cancelling on one of them.

Have watched Danny Pevsner teaching at a number of dressage clinics, and quite frankly thought he was the rudest, most arrogant man I have ever met. He clearly rides well and is a sharp observer of both rider and horse, but don't expect too much instruction whilst you are watching him 'work' your horse, so he can reveal where you have been so terribly wrong in all your riding and thinking. It depends how much deference you are prepared to give someone who was distantly associated with the Spanish Riding School, as opposed to how much to judge someone their performance as a trainer today.

Ami McLean at Kimpton Vale Dressage will train at her yard will also travel - she is enthusiastic fun and very good!

She is currently earning very good results with her horse she has backed and produced herself -see last weeks H&h write up.

Regular clinics with David Hunt are also held regularly at her yard - he is fantastic - very inspirational and so much experience.

Not me as such - I am involved with Kimpton vale dressage - the business where Ami is the resident trainer - she can also freelance though .

I train with Ami and have done for many years I can recommend her!
