1- do they work? I have a nervous dog who will not settle on a night. Nothing physically wrong with him (per the vet). He just won't settle.

2- where has the best price for one?

Thanks!

I posted a few months back to say how impressed I was with these! I started grooming from a vets back in December. I had in a westie pup that I'd had in my own salon previously who was a bit of a terror. To be fair to him, I think he's got some issues - he's quite sharp and nervous at the best of times. Mix that in with a noisy salon with loud dryers, scary clippers etc he was just bubbling over. I don't throw my pups in at the deep end grooming wise - I do table training with them before a clipper ever does it's thing - but this youngster was always going to have a go at me, the clipper or anything else in the vicinity.

Anyway, he was due to get his first trim in December IF I could get near him (otherwise it was going to be a bath and a tidy with scissors only). Found the DAP diffuser and plugged it in. Within ten minutes I had a totally different dog on the table - and this was a pup I'd seen twice before and was seriously concerned it was going to be a sedation job (which I never consider lightly).

He's coming back in this week in fact, so it'll be interesting to see how he gets on and how he has been at home as the owner bought a diffuser to try there.

Had very good results with DAP diffusers and sprays with both rescue cat and rescue dog. Both anxious, with separation issues and worries about sudden noises. Helped take the edge off their degree of worry, until time and training had a chance to support them to feel more safe and secure.
