***Daughter and Dolly - boring proud mummy post!!!***

Well Done! Great results to achieve high 60%s.

She looks so confident and happy and it's a pleasure to read a proud post from another mum, I know exactly how you feel. And I can echo 3 sets of clothes (horse/school/bed) as my daughter is just the same, I bet they'd get on famously.

Please keep us all updated with progress :-)

I like her style :D

Dolly will love going to the gallops :D at least you wont have to run next to her this time

Did you find the pictures? Hes about a hand smaller than dolly and I'm considerably bigger than miniRM.

How lovely to see the progress! It only seems like yesterday you were having kittens about the prospect of her starting to jump - look at them now! :)
Have you joined PC yet? Easter is coming up, and that will be a fantastic opportunity for them both to get in and meet people before the chaos of the summer holidays - and camp!

great to see such a lovely update.

echoing previous poster who suggested PC. She will love the rallies and camp in the summer. easter they will prob have an easter egg hunt ride which is always fun.

My daughter has outgrown all that now and we are starting to break in a 16.2 3yr old, this could be you in 6 years time!

I couldn't find the pics - could you send me a link???

We're looking forward to the gallops - daughter had a good gallop round in her private lesson (intentionally this time ;)) and they both loved it!!! Where the gallops are, there's a long farm ride with XC jumps - last time we went somewhere like that Dolly was REALLY strong and a bit scary!! So we're thinking of her doing the gallops first, and then farm ride. Does that sound sensible?

Yay! My favourite kind of post.

They look amazing :D

Thanks Jesstickle!!!

For anyone interested, their results this time was 70.48% and 68.57% - currently sitting in 2nd and 3rd place, but this may change as there's others still to be marked.

Daughter is very pleased with those scores!

:D

Thanks!

Daughter is a centre member of PC, and attends PC activities at the riding school. We're thinking of her joining branch PC so she can compete etc... but at the moment the rallys are at really bad times for us, so we can't get her there.

It will be better when she changes schools in September though.

She is joining a riding club and going to go to their shows this year - she can't wait!!!

:D

Thanks!!! I know she'd love PC - we'll get into it soon.

Tomorrow we're going to load the pony onto our new van for the first time. Looking forward to that!!! We're giving it a good run before our first outing with Dolly - trying to take very precaution to be sure we're all safe and happy.

But really looking forward to this year with them!

Your 3yr old sounds like fun! I know sod all about doing that sort of thing, but I'd love to do it!!!!
