***Daughter and Dolly.....exciting news!!!***

Redmone, are Dolly's lugs MEANT to make her look like she has Devil horns as some sort of reminder of her past ;)

They look great together. And I'll echo what people are saying about D being a nice rider- she looks quiet and effective, and Dolly looks relaxed. I can see a future of D getting on with the more 'quirky' and sensitive horses :)

Fab- what a team. Another who agrees there is no hurry to move up. When the time is right something will turn up. If she keeps progressing and doing well there will be someone who knows someone who has the perfect 14.2.

When I was young every one had scruffy brown native ponies about 13.2 (probably) no one moved up until they were at least 16, or 18 if you could help it, and then it was onto horses.

I did this! And I'm 26 now and we still have him :D he's late 20's, very grey and a bit wooly now, but he still jumps the 4ft fence to get in the hay field every year!

they look perfect for eachother!;)

Thank you! They are just as cheeky as each other!!! X

Wow, Dolly looks fabulous! And congrats to your daughter, achieving sponsorship is quite an achievement! :)

Thank you, I'm so proud of them! Xxx

Well done, I can't believe how daughter has shot up though!

I know......I know..... : (

Aw thanks - well if you are ever selling ... she would be perfect for my daughter's next pony !

Would definitely keep you in mind....but I don't think I could part with her! Shes my first pony too!!! Xxx

I love Dolly and Daughter updates :D they're both looking fab, they're looking like proper little showjumpers! It always comes across in your posts just how much Dolly is a part of the family, she's more like a ginger hairy daughter than a pony :D

Hahahahaha very true!!! My hairy girls lol!!! :-)

Not often you see a relaxed looking pony and child showjumping, but your daughter looks like she's doing a fab job with Dolly. Perhaps she could show some adults a thing or two at Hickstead!! Lovely pics and well done D and D!

Aww thank you what a nice thing to say. There is something about this venue also that seems to suit them! Always a lovely day there. Xxx

I thought that, they're proper devil horns!!! Lol!!! But yes, daughter seems to like quirky ponies! She recently fell in love with a riding school pony who very quickly susses riders out and naps if they're not up to the job. He went like a dream for daughter and she'd very much like to keep him! :-) x

Funny you should say that about the 14.2hh! A hho friend of mine has been in touch with exactly that possibility! Won't say anymore as its not my place to, but needless to say we're very excited!!!

And gotta love the natives :-) :-) :-)
