Get something that is rideable now. That will give her something to focus on. If finances are a worry then keeping Beau is not really a practical option - just one that will result in her giving up horses anyway. It is a valuable life lesson that money doesnt grow on trees and that sacrifices have to be made. How old is your daughter?
I was very lucky to get my first pony so was well aware that having two wasnt an option. When the time came, I was sorry to see my first pony go but life goes on. Only now can I really understand the reality of how expensive ponies/horses are to keep and how much of a sacrifice my parents had made to allow me to keep one. In no way will it ruin your daughter's life nor negatively affect it so I wouldnt let that sway your decision. The heartbreak honestly doesnt last. Having a new pony ready to ride to focus on will take her mind off Beau - mind you it will want to be the perfect pony!
Good luck!!
