Took my little girl whos 6 up to Windsor Great Park today, the roads are quite busy getting there so dont really like going evenings or weekends but in the school holidays dont mind so much, had a really good ride some good canters and went upto the copper horse so of course she wanted a pic and thought id share it!!:D

Ah thankyou, and bless him he is the most perfect pony, i was on a horse and my friend was with us and he just cantered behind across open feilds bless him and then when she wanted to go in front cantered along at his own pace, could fault him. and was the only one out of all 3 that strolled straight past some road works!!!:)
 
Awww bless, all hi-vizzed up like a good girl... have you noticed how your horses head is looking just like that statue??

hehe bless him striking a pose!!! Oh yes shes just thinks its normal bless her, everybody at ours wears it as we have a busy road to go up to get there, she usually has a exersise sheet on to but went to put it on and the mice have eaten aload of it!! I was not impressed!!:mad:
 
How lovely. I have always wanted to take our gang. Do you have to have a permit or can you just turn up and ride? Is there trailer parking?
 
Used to walk in the park all the time when I was at uni - so jealous of anyone who got to ride it in. That statue up close is stunning too. Lovely pic :D

You need a permit though don't you?

Yer it is good, yer you have to a permit, usually people buy them yearly at mine, not sure how it would work for a day they must have day permits, and theres loads of parking, would defo be worth looking into.:)

Hehe he really is a superstar bless him!! Will turn his teeny tiny hooves to anything!!

Next time we go up (now the weathers better it will be more) im going to take the proper camera rather than the phone pics!!:)
