had a few lessons with him when I was on ponies and I have scribed for him on a number of occasions. Was very very impressed and he made some quick but very effective corrections to my lil cobby pony. Great to scribe for as well, although being asked to mark movements with reasons was a bit nerve wracking but made for a very educational experience.
wow excellent, I will get piccies and give you all a report tomorrow when we get back then.
History: When my boss got Bondi, she decided to affiliate him with BD but due to his warmblood breeding, BD assigned him 260 points!!! We all felt this wasnt fair to put him up against that sort of competition so got in touch with BD who said that David Trott is our local assessor. He assessed him 2 weeks ago and has assigned him 15 points...much better....He also said he would like to see my boss and Bondi again and invited them to his clinic tomorrow.
Its all very exciting. Bondi was bought from a dealer near Bristol who had only had him imported 3 months prior to purchase. He's a fantastic little horse-although I dont get on all that well with him at the moment. I think once he has chilled out a bit, and is a bit more schooled, I will get on better with him, ATM I'm happy just plodding in walka nd trot locally.
Anyway...sorry for the ramble...will deffo be on with a report tomorrow!! Our time slot is at around 1 so expect the report tomorrow at around 4 or 5!!
Yep... had one lesson with him at a clinic... and found him very good....
What I did realise afterwards though, is that I really should have written some notes afterwards on what he said, and the pertinent points, so I could work on them again, and again... as after a while of working alone at home again, you do forget.
If you can get it video'd all the better.. especially if you can hear him on the video.
