I got a new camera for Christmas. :D These were all taken within the last month, training has been ramping up in preparation for the national champs next week. Just Dax and solo bikejor at the moment, poor Ricoh had a great first run at the start of the season but has totally lost the plot now following a dog attack. I hope to be able to integrate him back into the team and be back on the rig for next season.

Brilliant - much better pace in the second and third videos :) :)

But now I want to go eventing again.... love the course on the 1st video - where is it? :)

The greyhounds were most disappointed that you turned the sound off by the way, they thought the howling dogs at the beginning of the first one were great :D

Holy moly that third one looks fast! How much control do you have over the pace? Sorry if that's a daft question, I've never seen this before!

Skip ahead in the first one, once we're out of the frozen mud she's able to speed up - and chasing a previous European champ makes her put a spurt on as well. ;)

It's Eland Lodge in Derbyshire. The fences are large enough to give me the willies, mine and B's hunter trialling career was short and filled with terror... :p

It's easier to turn the sound off than to edit out my swearing and heavy breathing on the hills! :D I left her start line whinging in for effect.

Ha ha love the idea of swearing and heavy breathing, thats what I would be doing too :D I did watch the whole of the 1st video and noticed someone zipping past you, OMG they are fast and now I understand why :)

I can't wait to be out hunter trialling with my new pony, but all the courses round us seem to be closing :(

Complete control, really, all changes of direction and pace are done with voice commands. I've clocked her in training at 24mph. She's slow and steady compared to many of her peers! :)

This is fascinating..what is he pulling?Do you have a pic of the bike?Sled?

Can't wait for Ricoh to be back, the two of them together look so impressive :)

Neither can I, I was gutted to have to drop him just a few weeks into the season but he just isn't safe to race at the moment. Since being chased and beaten up by those labradors he now flinches when anything comes up behind him - the risk of a tangle at speed, him being dragged or lunging out at a passing team is just too great. :( He's an anxious dog at the best of times and I don't want to knock his confidence.

One more pic from back in September - the way he's looking at me makes it all worthwhile. :)
