Took her to Great Westwood today to see some xc fences, along with a friend who doesn't "do" jumping. The ground was really good, and for those who know it they've built a few new fences in some places, pretty meaty ones and difficult skinnies, presumabley for a PC open class.
Anyway, she was very good, popped round everything asked of her (ditches, water, lots of logs
, drops, etc), thought about where she put her feet and never once pulled or napped
or anything naughty, really most pleasant to be on! And that's all in a straight bar rubber snaffle.
Was even more chuffed for friend though as she apparently went to pieces last time she tried xc which was over a year ago, and she charged round everything I did apart from a couple that were about 2'9", and had the time of her life! Was lovely to see her and her horse enjoying themselves so much!
