So here we are at day 299 feeling pretty relaxed myself...but for poor Als it is so hot.

Hi dianchi, yes thats just what I am thinking too. a couple of the mares by the same stallion have gone early, one two weeks a filly and the other nearly a month a colt.
Could be totally wrong she may stay like that for a few weeks bag and muscle wise and just keep me totally waiting arggghhh!!:eek:

She's looking lovely as always. Se's also looking very ready... hope she holds on a bit longer for you x

haras- thanks I too hope she holds on for at least another three weeks or so, but what will be will be. She looked even bigger this morning lol!
How is your mare doing she must be 310 ish days?:D
 
Crikey! She looks really ready!! Seri is the same, a bit further on than Als though. Good luck and fingers crossed she bakes for a touch longer! xx

She's 308 days today, bagging up lots, I think she may be just beginning to loosen around her back end. I'm hoping she waits until after all the bank hols, but I am keeping a close eye! I've also asked work if it might be possible to change the dates of my leave, as it looks rather unlikely that she is planning on waiting for 23rd May!

haras- these arabians hey? I honestly dont think Als will go longer than three weeks looking at her and like you previously said arabs may foal earlier Als is only 14.3hh and just over pony size so who knows?. Good luck with your mare and keep me posted:)
