I think my track has too many long straights in it. Mim has mistaken track system for Kentucky Derby.

What is the field track version of a sleeping policeman?

bends and curves slow them down - sometimes! But ‘narrow’ straight lengths that tracks are, induce gallop fever!

Give them the whole field and they’ll amble about nonchalantly...divide same field into tracks and they’re off!

I have a straight track that also then goes uphill...mine gallop insanely on that straight, reach the top of the hill, stop and hiss loudly, proudly at the entire valley beneath them...which echoes their hiss back at them.....id love to film it sometime!

Mim is going to get herself top-notch fit without your help now, its amazing how fit they can get on tracks ...i love her tail pricked high just loving it! ?

I have long narrow stretches to encourage fast movement, I also have curves and bends and wider sections for loafing. I have logs and large poles, and a stones dotted about. They do slow them down a little. I'm all for charging about though!
